Heghine was born in Armenia. Already in her early childhood she was fascinated by the sound of the piano. She studied in Yerevan with Prof. Armen Babakhanian and later in Austria, at Mozarteum/Salzburg (Prof. R.Plagge & P.Lang). Masterclasses with A.Banduryansky, J.Rose, R. Levin, K.Hellwig, L.Angelov, A.v.Arnim and Ingrid Haebler. Her first concert tour in west Europe was at the age of 16, after winning the Kawai Artist Price in 2001. Heghine has given recitals in Austria, Germany, Bulgaria, Holland, Moldavia, Russia, Greece, Armenia. She has collaborated with the Japanese conductor Hisayoshi Inoue and her performances have been broadcasted by the Tokyo National Radio.
